It really depends on personal preference. Most hearing aids now have similar technology for sound and quality between the different model types available. The older types of models being RIC and BTE can tend to get in the way of glasses as the cord loops around ear to main devise. RIC hearing aids do sound more natural effectively amplifying higher frequency noise plus offering less feedback into the hearing devise then BTE models can provide. ITE hearing aids are smaller hearing aids which fit directly in ear and have no external parts. The quality of our ITE hearing aids is great and fit directly into ear and have no cords to wrap around ear that consistently get in way of glasses. Some hearing aids we offer have push button volume control and mode control for ease of turning volume up quickly or changing mode so need for external tools for adjustment. The technology is really based on the channels the hearing aid has. The higher the Channel being 16 can have better sound quality then 4 channels. But our 4 channel hearing aids can sound as good as our 16 channel models.
